What is the size of Pebble?
- Pebble is 11 mm thick by 50.8 mm long by 33 wide (not including buttons). It has a 22mm wrist-strap. The standard strap will fit wrists with a circumference between 14cm and 21cm; the extended strap, which costs an additional $3, will fit wrists with a circumference up to 24cm.
Is Pebble waterproof?
- Yes, up to 5ATM.
What colours are available for Pebble?
- Pebble is currently available in five (5) colours: Jet Black, Arctic White, Cherry Red, Orange and Grey.
Can you interchange Pebble's colour face-plates?
- No. Due to waterproofing, the face-plates can not be exchanged.
What kind of battery is inside of Pebble?
- Pebble uses a 140mAh rechargeable lithium-ion polymer battery.
Can I replace the battery when it dies?
- No, in the interest of size and water resistance the battery is not able to be replaced by the user.
What kind of screen does Pebble use?
- We use a sharp memory LCD, which is a type of e-paper that has the excellent contrast of e-ink with a much better refresh rate.
What temperatures will Pebble function in?
- Pebble functions from -10 up to 60 degrees C.
How close must Pebble be to my smartphone to stay connected?
- Pebble's Bluetooth range is approximately 20-30 feet.

Can Pebble display notifications in other languages?
- Pebble is currently only set up for English, but developers will be able to develop apps to support other languages. We are still looking into how various languages (and what versions – eg. simplified vs traditional Chinese) will display for basic notifications.
Can Pebble still be used as a watch without a smartphone?
- Yes, Pebble will still function as a watch without a connection. It will be able to use any preloaded apps that do not require GPS or any additional data from the internet.
How long does it take to charge Pebble?
- It takes approximately two (2) hours for Pebble to reach full charge from a low battery.
How long will Pebble battery last per charge?
- Pebble will last for seven (7) days with occasional use, or five (5) days with frequent notifications and backlight activation.
What certifications does Pebble have?
- Pebble has FCC, CE, UL and IC certifications.
What devices are compatible with Pebble?
- iPhone 3GS, 4, 4S, 5 or any iPod Touch with iOS 5 or iOS 6.
- Android devices running OS 2.3 and up.
Will there ever be support for Windows Phone?
- We won't support Windows Phone 8 at launch. All of our energy is focused on iPhone and Android. It's possible that we might support it in the future, but I cannot guarantee it and it would not be in the near future.
Will there ever be support for Blackberry?
- Unfortunately, there is no support planned for Blackberry at the moment either. We will be concentrating our efforts on iPhone and Android devices for the time being.
Will Pebble work with iPads?
- No, unfortunately, Pebble is not compatible with iPad.
Will Pebble work with my car kit or my Bluetooth headphones?
- Initial testing has shown that Pebble should be able to be used with standard Bluetooth headsets (ie. one will not interfere with the function of the other when they are each paired with your smartphone). However, we have not had the opportunity to test it with car kits or Bluetooth headphones yet, so we cannot guarantee those.
If there is interference, you can easily disable the Bluetooth network by entering "Airplane Mode"
Where can I download the Pebble app?
How much will it cost for watchfaces and additional apps?
- Watchfaces and additional apps will be available for purchase through app stores. The cost will vary; some will be free, but we expect most to cost approximately $1 USD. It may be more though, depending on the complexity of the app. The developers will set the price.
What's the latest on the SDK?
- We expect to release the SDK during the second week of April!

- The shipping box weighs 0.444lbs and is 4.5" wide, by 12.5" long, and 1" thick.
What carrier will you be using?
- Orders shipping to American addresses will be shipped from our US Distribution Center using USPS.
- International shipping addresses will be sent from our Hong Kong Distribution Center using Singapore Post and Sweden Post.
Can I pay for faster shipping or another carrier (Fedex, UPS, etc)?
- No, unfortunately, we are not offering alternate shipping methods at this time. However, we have worked hard to find the most timely and cost-effective option to ship your Pebble(s) to you.
Can you mark it as a gift?
- No. We cannot mark packages as gifts.
What value will be declared for shipping?
- The declared value will reflect the prices that you paid for the product.
- For Kickstarters, it will be marked as the special $90 USD price per Pebble.
- For pre-order from www.getpebble.com, it will be marked as the retails price of $150 USD per Pebble.
Will you put the paperwork on the outside of the box?
- Yes, the value of the package will be declared on a stick on the exterior of the shipping box.
Will I get a tracking number?
- Yes, we will email a tracking number to your account as soon as your order ships from the Distribution Center.
