Within this guide, "Pebble" will refer to any Pebble smartwatch connecting to the Pebble mobile app, including the original Pebble, Pebble Steel, Pebble Time, Pebble Time Steel, and Pebble Time Round.


Pairing/Set Up

Watchfaces and Apps



 Charge your Pebble

  • Make sure your Pebble is properly charged



Enable Bluetooth

  • Enable bluetooth on both your phone and watch



Pair your Pebble via Bluetooth

  • Available Pebbles within 30-50ft of your phone will be listed for pairing.


Pebble, Pebble Steel, Pebble Time, & Pebble Time Steel

Pebble Time Round users: ​Click here to skip to the Pebble Time Round section.

  • Tap your Pebble Time when you see it listed on the screen.

  • If more than one Pebble appears and you need help figuring out which one is yours, click here.

  • Confirm the pairing in the app and on your watch.

  • If you have trouble pairing your watch, please click here.

You may skip the Pebble Time Round section and begin step 4.


Pebble Time Round

Pebble Time Round pairs to your iPhone using proximity pairing.

  • place your watch on top of your iPhone. The Pebble app will search and automatically request to pair with your Pebble Time Round.

  • Tap "Pair" when it pops-up in the app, and press the Up button on your Pebble to confirm the connection.

Apps and watchfaces

Now that you’re paired, you can add new watch faces and apps.
  • Tap ‘Watchfaces’ or ‘Apps’ on the bottom menu bar, then ‘Get watchfaces’ or ‘Get apps’



In the bottom right corner is a Notifications button where you can change settings for your app notifications.

  • Apps will appear after the first time you receive a notification from them

  • Notifications are enabled by default (see image below).

  • Tap the three dots next to the switch to adjust that app’s notification settings

  • Tap the switch next to the three dots to disable notifications from that app


Note: To function correctly, the Pebble app should stay open in the background.

  • To do this, open the Pebble app, then tap the home button.

  • Force-closing the app may cause poor connection and missed notifications
